Stompa Bunk Beds - And What You Should Know

When you're looking to purchase a bunk bed I'd definitely recommend you give Stompa a try, simply because they provide a massive variety of beds at reasonable prices.

The one thing I love about Stompa isn't just their lower prices; it's their choice because their choice is just incredible. To start with, I thought I knew a lot about bunk beds and their difference variations upon the classic single bed on top of another with a rickety ladder going from the top to the bottom. For me they opened up a whole new way of thinking which I think is just incredible, because they take storage and take it to the next level, as well as turning a normal bed into a wardrobe, couch and work station all in one.

It's always annoyed me that beds take up the largest area in the room, but we only usually use them when we're not even conscious. Single beds are incredibly low to the ground and although they do utilize the horizontal lengths there's a massive amount of vertical space above them which is completely wasted. If you want to store a lot of books, you buy a bookcase - but you buy a tall one because you want to utilize the most room that you can. Yet with beds people almost never buy beds with extra storage space and it seems crazy to me that the piece of furniture in the bedroom which takes up the most area is also usually the lowest to the ground.

Stompa Bunk Beds blow this space wasting dilemma out of the water because they are filled with extra storage spaces all over. You can buy a plain bunkbed, or you can buy a number of variations on the original theme which will completely transform how your child lives their life. You can buy them with computers and work desks underneath which means you're saving a significant amount of space in their room. They can have fold out futons underneath so that they can be used for couches most of the time, and then quickly converted for when friends come over. They can have entire wardrobes underneath which again are incredibly useful because you save a massive amount of space in the room which can be used for other things. Whatever you want, Stompa can provide, and what's more is that they also offer add-ons for their beds which allow clip on storage shelves which means books and drinks can be right next to your while you sleep. Their beds can be bought from around 1000 dollars and upwards to around 2000 dollars which is their maximum and this price obviously varies depending on the product you wish to buy. Personally I think either their designs with work desks or wardrobes underneath are incredibly useful, and although the prices are steep just remember you're getting another piece of furniture - not just a bed!

Stompa Casa Bunk Beds!

Hey guys, it's James again, I'm posting below some of the more stylish but also very practical bunk beds designed and produced by Stompa Bunk Beds.  Four of the six of them are from their 'Casa' bed range, but we've also got one other design in there, as well as a more modern 'Uno' design.

Below is a Casa 1 Stompa Bunk Bed, it comes with a small couch beneath that doesn't take up the entire length of the lower section.  A small space that can be used for storing items makes up the other portion of the one third of the space that isn't taken up by the couch.  It also features multiple storage outlets that allow for books, toys or lamps to be placed within easy reaching distance from the top and bottom bunks. Finally the ladder going from the bottom bunk to the top is placed diagonally giving it a distinct finish.

Below is the third bed in the Casa range, it's a Stompa bed similar to the above one, apart from it has a different color scheme.  More importantly, whereas the above bed has a storage gap that doesn't have anything specifically installed, the below version has a desk space, and multiple storage shelves which allow for books to be stored.  The desk itself is useful in itself for either housing a television, a computer - or absolutely nothing and being used as a working space for your children.

Below is the Stompa Casa 4 Bunk Bed, and it's similar to the others in the range, apart from it doesn't just have the desk and storage shelves, but it has cabinets underneath the desk which can be used for even further storing spaces.  The whole piece of furniture also has a white paint finish, as opposed to just having the blank pieces of wood laid bare.  It doesn't just have to be white of course, there are plenty of colors to choose from which make it particularly customizable as a bunk bed.

The Stompa Casa 5 Bunk Bed differs again from the crowd, but is more similar to the first Casa bed, apart from the empty gap isn't replaced by a desk.  It's replaced by a four box storage space with three shelves above it.  This is an improvement on the previous two designs with regards to pure storage ability, but of course it doesn't have a desk, so in this instance it's really about specifically making a choice based on your needs.  This is more centered around increased storage capabilities as opposed to having increased versatility.

Moving away from the Casa range, we've got a stylish Stompa Rondo Bunk Bed.  I'm not sure if this is technically a bunk bed, I'd class it more as a Captain's bed due to it being raised of the ground with storage spaces below.  However whereas Captain's beds are aimed more at adults purely for extra storage space, this is clearly geared more towards the child market with useful but slightly less logistically coherent storage spaces below.  It has a painted white finish with addable accessories being in a sky blue color.

Finally the last bed I want to show you guys is a Stompa Uno Bunk Bed, which in my opinion is a mix of both practical sleeping, storing and a pleasing aesthetic finish.  It has the classic two tiered bunk bed design, with a smooth white finish over the hard wood.  Beneath the lower bunk it has multiple storage spaces including boxes for toys, and book shelves for books, DVDs and so forth.

Ok, I'm done for today, I hope you've learnt a little bit about Stompa Bunk Beds - remember, the best way to find out the best bed for you is to just look in your child's room and look at what he/she really needs as opposed to what they just want.

Stompa Beds!

Hi everyone!  My name's James and here's a few pictures of some of the more iconic Stompa Bunk Bed designs.  These are pretty unique because the majority aren't just spin offs of the Victorian era bunk bed, which are essentially just to single beds on top of each other.  These are much more interesting, and feature lots of different designs that don't just serve practical purposes, but have a great aesthetic appearance and blend into everyone home with a pleasurable aesthetic taste that only Stompa is capable of!

Below is a Casa 4 Stompa Bunk Bed, as you can see it has a unique design (especially if you're bored of seeing the old tried and tested bunk beds that haven't changed in... oh about 200 years?), and more importantly this isn't just about saving space, it's about utilizing the space to create the best effect with what you have!

Below is your basic bunk bed design that it'll be much more reminiscent of your classical era versions which you'll have seen West to East.

Classic Oak Stompa Bunk Bed
Below is a more stylish Girl's Bunk Bed, it's in pink, but not a glaring single colored affair but it has a variety of gentler pink and blue hues to give it a less childish but still girlish appearance.  It's aimed more at the increased amount of style and appearance conscious girl's in today's society.

The Stompa Bed design beneath really interests me because it's a bed that isn't there for the purpose of storing an extra person underneath, but it's actually taking advantage of the vertical space beneath the bed that is almost never used.  In this instance a couch and excitingly, a wardrobe are underneath which has incredible bedroom planning implications because the suggestion here is if you can fit a wardrobe under you bed, you save space elsewhere in the room that can be used for other things!

The design below is similar in a sense because it's still taking advantage of the space below, although I would say this is somewhat more superficial than actually practical.

Stompa Bunk Bed with Sofa Bed

The Stompa Bed with a Storage Trundle below serves a definite practical purpose because it has the bottom bunk allowing for the extra capacity of another person, as well as having the storage spaces beneath the lower bunk that increase the room's storage capacity - a definite practical buy!

Finally we have a much more modern and stylish Uno Stompa Bunk Bed, it's essentially a more stylish version on the basic design, check it out...
